DELL offers installment option for Students and Entrepreneurs of Bangladesh
What if you are a student who is in desperate need for a laptop for your university assignments ? Or what if you are a up and coming entrepreneur who needs four new laptops for running the day to day operation? Your budget is tight and you have no cash in hand? what do you do? Well, DELL now has a great scope for you.
Students and entrepreneurs (especially females) will be able to buy Dell Laptops with two-year installments. These laptops will be given by the e-commerce organization "Amar Desh Amar Gram". However, 9 to 10 percent interest the will be paid to Trust Bank. A memorandum of understanding was signed in this regard with Trust Bank, Dell Bangladesh and Amar Desh Amar Gram on March 06, 2014. The agreement signing ceremony was held at the conference room of Bangladesh Bank. Governor of Bangladesh Bank Dr. Atiur Rahman handed over laptops to two female students and one woman entrepreneur on March 07, 2014. General Manager of the Central Bank SME Department, Masum Patwari presided over the program. Ishtiaq Ahmed Chowdhury, Managing Director of Trust Bank Limited; Dasgupta Asim Kumar, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank; Sonia Bashir Kabir, Residential Manager of Dell and Sadeka Hasan Shejuti, the founder of Amar Desh Amar Gram attended the ceremony.
In the meantime the organizers said the laptops will be given to the female entrepreneurs and students with 9 to 10 percent interest of Trust Bank. The loans will be given with two years easy installments. The buyer will pay the cost of the laptop as down payment of 20 percent. Customers will receive remain 80 percent as loan. Masum Patwari said, Bangladesh Bank will continue such new programs constantly for female and SME entrepreneurs and female students. Organizers said they can apply for the loan through Amar Desh Amar Gram and Dell's Website.
