Uber is an American worldwide transportation network company with which you can avail transport from one place to another with the simple use of an app. It’s available in over 66 countries worldwide and has revolutionized the game when it comes to transportation. And now, Uber is in Dhaka!

If you don’t know how to yet, here’s an in-depth tutorial on how to avail your Uber ride:

Step 1: Download the Uber app.

Download the Uber app from either the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

Step 2: Open the app.

Step 3: Set pickup location.

Choose where you want your car to pick you up by pinning the location on the map.

Step 4: Confirm your ride.

Press the “Request uberX” button to confirm your ride.

You can select payment method, cash or you can add a credit card. Get an estimate of your ride fare or if you have a promo offer, you can also insert the promo code to get discounts.

Step 5: Enter destination.

While you wait for your ride to be confirmed, enter your destination. You will know where your car is in the map.

Step 6: Know when your car is on the way to you.

You will be sent notifications telling you when your car is en route and details of the car, including what car it is and details of the driver. Your driver will also call you when he has received your order.

Step 7: Wait

Wait for your car to get here. Meanwhile, you can check the details, and even cancel your trip.

Step 8: Uber!

Step into your car when it is here and simply pay your driver when you’re getting off. Safe and simple.
